REI Ascent

Store employees use Ascent on an iPod Touch and attached bar code scanner to help customers.

Ascent is distributed as an Enterprise app, and so it isn't available in the App Store.

As a dev9 employee, I improved and maintained Ascent:

• Prototyped major new features- Talk with new web service, add MVC components
• Improved and updated management of attached MFi bar code scanner
• Helped update app for AFNetworking 2. Added reachability
• Fixed bugs
• Replaced deprecated code
• Added unit tests
